FLOOR STRIPPING AND WAXING
PREPARATION: Special attention will be given to any area that needs to be taped off and protected. All paint spots, stains, and black heel marks will be hand scrubbed and scraped to remove all blemishes possible
MACHINE CLEANING : All flooring will be machine stripped using a 175 r.p.m. floor scrubber equipped with a nylo-grit scrub brush. This stiff nylon brush with different length bristles will completely clean the floor removing all wax, dirt, and grime. All edges and corners will be hand scrubbed. All baseboards will be washed to ensure that no wax residue remains. This cleaning method will not harm the flooring and all of the cleaning chemicals are biodegradable and environmentally safe.
CLEANUP AND RINSE: After the No-Wax floor is stripped clean all stripping solution and old wax are removed. The floors are then given a complete mopping and thorough rinse.
VACUUMING: When the floor have completely dried they are vacuumed with a HEPA vacuum with a 3 layer dust filter. This will insure a perfectly clean floor for the application of the floor finish.
FINISHING: Now that all the floors are clean and dust free the first coats of metal-interlock floor finish will be applied. This sealer will take approximately 20-30 minutes to dry. High Solids Finish will then be applied to all the flooring. As the porosity of tile varies additional coats may be needed or the floor may need to be buffed at 2000 r.p.m. to achieve maximum shine.
